"Mothers' Night" is a narrative midwinter ballad about a courageous young girl learning the true meaning of the winter holidays.

"Mothers' Night" was originally written and read aloud at Burbank's Roguelike Tavern for A Night of Spirits, an evening of ghost stories to tell by a cold winter's fire organized by Nicole Knudsen and Day for Knight Productions.
